It is nice to see how American flag are displayed outside the house. But do you know what the American flag is made out of? Usually, cotton American flag are being manufactured. And cotton gives a very bright display of colors and the red and white stripes really stands out.
At first, cotton is the first choice when it comes to creating the American flag. But cotton easily fades and torn. That is why manufacturers are looking for more durable materials that can last long. Though, they are still using cotton to create the American flag.
Today, cotton American flag is still displayed but mostly inside the house. This will keep it from being torn and faded. If it is displayed outside, there is a huge chance that it will not last very long.
Also, exposure to sun gives a different effect to it. The bright colors will eventually change to a more softer one. It will require you to change over and over again when it looks old already. For sure you do not want to have a fading and torn American flag because this represents how you value your country and being a proud citizen.
Caring for cotton American flag is simple and the simplest way to do so is to display it inside your home. Clean it by removing cobwebs and dust. When washing, make sure you use mild soap so that the color will not be washed away.
If for instance, the cotton American flag gets torn, do not worry, this can be easily fixed. Fixing a simple tear will show that you care a lot about your country. And that you are proud for your heritage and you will show it by doing this simple things.
Aside from cotton American flag, there are also other materials used. These materials are more durable than cotton and is perfect for display outside the house.

I want to address a question I have gotten a lot recently. (I am sure it has a lot to do with the hit show Sons of Anarchy) It is from people who want to start new Motorcycle Clubs. They want to know if they should go to the predominate MCs in their area to talk about starting a new MC first. Many have said to me they do not understand the reason why they should go talk to them! Some have even gone as far as to say that if they have to go to the predominate MC in their area and ask permission that just proves that MC is a Criminal Gang! Not sure how they came to that conclusion but they are some very strong words sent over the computer.
